The Technology Service Center offers several different kinds of AV and media equipment that are available for checkout by students, faculty, and staff. Following the steps below will ensure that your media request is directed to the correct place, and your reservation logged in a timely manner.
In order to ensure the availability of equipment, the Tech Center requires reservations to be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Short notice requests will be honored at the Tech Center's discretion, based on availability and other factors.
How to Make a Reservation
Step 1: Navigate to the Media Services page by going here: intranet.cu-portland.edu/media-services and sign in using your Network Username and Password. If you are having issues signing in, please follow the steps here to retrieve your username and password.
Step 2: On the Media Services page, scroll down to the web form. Fill out all fields, including what resource you need to check out in the Describe Equipment/Help Request field. If you would like to familiarize yourself with the policies, procedures, and guidelines for using Concordia's media equipment, you can do so on the *Insert Media Services Policy here* page, or by clicking the Policies and Guidelines button on the right of the web form.
Step 3: After the form is submitted, your request will be received by a Tech Center staff member, an email generated confirming that your request was sent. Please check this email to ensure that all aspects of your request were entered correctly.
Step 4: Once your request is received by a Tech Center staff member, we will check your request against our database of equipment and enter the reservation. When the reservation is logged, you will receive another email confirming that it has been entered and will be available for pickup at the designated time. If any part of your reservation is unsuccessful, the confirmation email will instead explore other options to fill your equipment needs, if they are available.
Step 5: The Tech Center requests that all reservations be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Short notice requests may not be able to be filled, and will be logged at the discretion of the Tech Center staff person filling the request based on availability of resources.
