We occasionally see an issue where PDFs will only print the first page of the document, and then abort the print job. This happens most often with documents containing fonts or symbols that are not normally encountered by the program (thus it occurs most prevalent in math and science texts), and can be easily resolved by sending the font information for each page in the PDF file when you print. This is addressed directly on Adobe's Help page.
In Adobe Acrobat Pro
Choose File > Print
Click on Advanced.
Choose PostScript Options.
Under Font and Resource Policy, select Send for Each Page.
In Adobe Reader
- Choose File > Print.
- Click on Advanced.
- Under Font and Resource Policy, select Send for Each Page.
