All students using Microsoft Teams on the Concordia University Portland Microsoft Office 365 tenant must observe the following:
- Microsoft Teams is for academic use only and users of Teams must adhere to Concordia University's "Acceptable Use Policy" as is outlined at https://support.cu-portland.edu/hc/en-us/articles/360012766914
- Microsoft Teams created for academic purposes should be deleted by the owner when the related project, term, or program has been completed.
- Inactive Microsoft Teams will be automatically deleted after 6 months of inactivity and completely unrecoverable from the recycle bin after another 30 days following their deletion. At that time, all data contained within the Team will be lost and cannot be recovered by Concordia University IT or Microsoft.
- All Teams created by students should use a name that clearly identifies the use or purpose of the Team and must not include any inappropriate, offensive or hateful words, or any 'code' words that represent these things.
In accordance with the "Acceptable Use Policy", misuse of Microsoft Teams may result in a Student losing access to Microsoft Teams functionality on their Office 365 account which may cause them to be unable to participate in or complete required class work.
