BDM (Banner Document Management) is an application for storing documents with metadata associated with Banner records. Access is synchronized with your Banner credentials. To request access, please work with your supervisor.
BDM Xtender is built within the Banner 9 webapp you already are used to. No external tool is accessed.
To access BDM Xtender from Banner, you can select one of the two options on the toolbar.
- Retrieve lets you view documents.
- Add lets you add and upload new documents.
When viewing documents, you can select one from a list of documents to display and show the metadata indexing information.
When adding documents, you can upload a file and then add the indexing information.
