If you want to share a calendar, use these instructions to publish the calendar and share with your desired audience. The calendar must already be created before you can use these instructions to publish and share the calendar.
- Access the Office 365 portal by logging into office.com with your CUP Network username and password.
- Click the tile for Outlook.
- Access the account manager pane by clicking the icon with your initials (or profile pic) in the upper-right corner.
- On the My account pane, click Open another mailbox.
- In the Open another mailbox field, type the name of the mailbox/calendar you wish to open (Example: TCReps, NursingActivities, etc.)
- Click the Open button.
- Once the calendar (or mailbox) has launched, click the gear icon (
) in the upper-right corner.
- Click View all Outlook settings.
- On the Settings overlay, click Calendar ❶ in the left pane and then Shared calendars ❷.
- From the Shared calendars menu ❷, locate Publish a Calendar ❸.
- Click the drop-down arrow and select the calendar you wish to publish from the calendars available in this list.
- Next to Select Permissions, click the drop-down arrow and choose the permissions for what data you want to share and allow users to change.
- Click the Publish button.
- Click the link you wish to share
- HTML: Use the HTML option for sharing online. Recipients can copy and paste the URL in a browser to view your calendar in a new browser window.
- ICS: Use the .ICS for sharing within the desktop app. If you choose an ICS link, recipients can download the ICS file and import it into Outlook. This will add your events into their calendar, but recipients won't automatically receive any updates to your calendar. Alternatively, recipients can use the ICS link to subscribe to your calendar through Outlook. They'll see your calendar alongside their own and will automatically receive any updates to your calendar.
- Click the Save button ❹ to complete the publishing process and save your changes.
- Use the share link you copied in step 9.5 above to publish or share your calendar with your audience.
